Distribution of Food Item: CEPEJ in collaboration with Givefoodng Distribute food items in Ijakpa community & Mammy Village, Effurun

In view of reducing the high level of poverty and hunger in the society, Center for Peace and Environmental Justice CEPEJ, in collaboration with Givefoodng on Thursday May 6th, 2021 embarked on the Second phase of food distribution to vulnerable individuals living in Mammy village a popular settlement within the effurun Army Barracks and Ijakpa community all in Ovwie LGA of Delta State.

It will recall that, the humanitarian support by both CEPEJ and Givefoodng began last week Friday were hundreds of vulnerable individuals living in Okpe and Ugolo communities of Okpe LGA, benefited from the kind gesture of the NGO’s as a start of 5 phase distribution of food items in the state.

Those who benefited expressed joy and happiness and prayed for God’s blessings on the National Coordinator of CEPEJ, Chief (Comrade) Sheriff Mulade and Givefoodng for remembering them in the food distribution program.

CEPEJ humanitarian team will visit and distribute food items to less privileged individuals in Iyara community and others in Warri South LGA next week.
